Privacy Notice
Privacy.
This notice describes what this site actually does. Nothing here is boilerplate for services the site does not use.
What is collected
When you submit the inquiry form, the information you enter (name, email, company, and your description of the matter) is processed along with your IP address, browser user agent, the page you arrived on, the referring site, and campaign parameters if present. When you subscribe to Field Notes, your email address is processed the same way.
Where it goes
Inquiries are recorded in HubSpot, the customer-relationship system used to manage this practice, and are used only to evaluate and respond to your inquiry. If HubSpot is unreachable, a temporary copy is held in Cloudflare storage until it can be processed, then removed. Information is not sold and is not shared with anyone else except the infrastructure that operates this site: Cloudflare (hosting, bot protection) and mail infrastructure.
Analytics
This site uses HubSpot analytics to understand which pages are visited and to connect an inquiry with the pages that led to it. It sets HubSpot cookies for that purpose. There is no advertising tracking, no Meta or Google ad pixels, no LinkedIn tag, no session recording, no heatmaps, and no fingerprinting.
Analytics is not loaded if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. You can also turn it off for this device here:
Bot protection
Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a privacy-preserving check in your browser to distinguish people from bots.
Fonts
Type is served from Google Fonts, which receives the request for the font files.
Retention and removal
To have your information corrected or deleted, or to unsubscribe from Field Notes, email joey@victori.no.
General
Nothing on this site constitutes legal, investment, or financial advice. Submitting a web form does not create an engagement or any duty of confidentiality; NDA-first conversations are available before any sensitive material changes hands. This notice is updated when the site's behavior changes.
